CSA LandinZicht

CSA LandinZicht

LandinZicht is an organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) market garden located on the border of Hilversum and Loosdrecht, at Rading 1b in Hilversum. The farm offers participants the opportunity to self-pick their own fresh, organic produce throughout the growing season.

The self-picking season typically runs for approximately 35 weeks, from mid-April to mid-November. To participate, individuals purchase a “harvest share” for the year, which allows them to visit the garden once a week to gather their own produce. It is also possible for multiple households to share a single harvest share. Gardeners provide weekly guidance on what is ready for harvesting, and members are encouraged to contribute ideas regarding crop cultivation.

The farm is committed to sustainable and natural farming practices, cultivating vegetables with care for soil health and the environment. All plant, seed, and planting materials, as well as compost/fertilizer, are of organic origin. This means no pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or genetically modified plants and seeds are used, ensuring 100% pure, honest, and healthy produce.

Participants can expect to harvest around 5 to 10 different types of fresh organic vegetables each week, with varieties changing according to the season.

In addition to self-picking, the project fosters a sense of community, with opportunities for recipe exchange and organized activities throughout the season. The site also features a farm shop offering organic products and a lunch restaurant with a terrace, located on Landgoed De Rading.

Harvesting hours are typically Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The cost for a harvest share for the 2025 season follows a tiered system, allowing participants to choose to pay €400 (minimum), €425 (standard), or €450 (to support those with limited income), aiming to make fresh organic vegetables accessible to a wider community.
